JumpTask is getting a major update on August 10th, 2026. Your earnings will become more stable, you'll get more ways to cash out, and everything will be clearer. Here's what's changing and what it means for you. You can read the full announcement on our blog.
The short version: your earnings will run on credits with a fixed dollar value, you'll have more payout options (gift cards, prepaid cards, crypto), and your current balance will be converted automatically. You don't need to do anything to keep your earnings.
What is changing?
On August 10th, 2026, all of the following will go live at once:
- Earnings switch to credits. Your balance will be shown in JumpTask Credits. 1,000 credits = $1.00. This rate is fixed and never changes.
- A new Payout section. The "My Wallet" section will be replaced with a new "Payout" section, where you'll find all your cash-out options in one place.
- More ways to get paid. Gift cards (Amazon, Steam, PayPal, Visa, and many more), plus crypto payouts - all available through our payout partner.
- A new withdrawal threshold. Once your balance reaches $0.50, you'll be able to cash out.
- A new info icon next to your balance. It will show a short explanation of credits and link to the full explainer blog post.
What are credits?
Credits are JumpTask's new earnings unit. 1,000 credits = $1.00 — a fixed rate, always.
This is the biggest benefit of the update: your balance no longer moves with the market. What you earn is what you keep. If your balance is worth $5.00 today, it's worth $5.00 tomorrow.
What happens to my current JMPT balance?
It will be converted to credits automatically on launch day. Nothing will be lost and you don't need to do anything — just log in after the update and your balance will be there in credits, ready to use.
The conversion rate will be based on the JMPT market rate on launch day, and the same rate will be applied to all balances at once.
Is JMPT going away?
JMPT will be replaced by JumpTask Credits on August 10th, 2026, and will no longer be supported inside JumpTask from that date.
Outside JumpTask, JMPT will no longer be supported 30 days after launch.
Can I still cash out to crypto?
Yes. Crypto payouts will still be available. They'll be processed through our payout partner instead of JMPT. You'll find the option in the new Payout section.
What is GIFQ?
GIFQ is the partner that will power JumpTask's new payout options — gift cards and crypto. When you cash out, you'll be redirected to redeem.gifq.com to complete your payout.
This redirect is normal and expected. GIFQ is a trusted JumpTask partner, and your earnings are safe. Always check that the address is exactly redeem.gifq.com before entering any details.
What payout options will I have?
A lot. Some highlights:
- Money: PayPal, prepaid Visa and Mastercard, Wise, Revolut, Venmo, bank transfer
- Shopping: Amazon, AliExpress, Temu, eBay, Walmart
- Gaming: Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Roblox, Razer Gold, Discord Nitro
- Entertainment: Netflix, Spotify, Disney, Google Play, Apple/iTunes
Availability and amounts vary by region — you'll see the full list when you start your cash-out and are redirected to our partner's website.
What's the withdrawal threshold?
The minimum payout will be $0.50, or $1.00 for a new user's first payout. Once your balance reaches that, you can cash out.
I log in with my wallet. Do I need to do anything?
One small step, one time. The new payout system requires an email-based account, so after the update, when you request a payout, you'll be asked to add an email or social login. It takes less than a minute and also secures your account for the future.
Wallet login will be phased out, so we strongly recommend adding an email or social login — this makes sure your account and earnings stay safe and reachable.
Will my tasks or earnings be interrupted?
No. You can keep completing tasks and earning right through the update. The only difference you'll see is that your earnings will be shown in credits instead of JMPT.
When is this happening?
August 10th, 2026. All changes go live on the same day. We'll keep this article updated as we get closer, and detailed step-by-step guides for credits, payouts, and login setup will be published alongside the launch.
